Job description:
- Location: Encino, CA
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm with 1 hour lunch break. *Currently reporting to office one or two times per week.
- Compensation: Depending on experience; benefits include health and dental insurance, vision, vacation, etc., after probationary period.

Responsibilities
- Drive views to Company's Official YouTube channel for monetization and promotion.
- Expert on all social channels and their tools managing relationships with each of the platform.
- Create engaging video clips from library content for SNS platforms.
- Create other engaging social media content.
- Collaborate with Japan to provide up-to-date information on current news and products.
- Develop marketing strategy and schedule new and catalog Anime release titles.
- Develop a social media strategy that defines how social media marketing techniques will be applied to increase brand visibility for Anime industry in N. America via SNS channels.
- Monitor social trends, stay abreast of new social platforms and best practices, and provide competitive social analysis.
- Work with content, brand, planning, engagement, and Licensing team to maintain promotions calendar.
- Plan and execute events from start to finish according to requirements, target audience, and objectives.
- Create, track, and deliver press releases to industry media.
- Communicate with team and create sales and marketing material.
- Special projects as requested.
Requirements
- Fluent in Japanese and English.
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Marketing.
- Relevant experience in TV production/streaming/licensing industry preferred.
- 3 years of experience in digital marketing (experience with SEM, SEO, and/or Paid Social a plus).
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential products, business, and trade information and remain professional at all times.
- Knowledge of and passion for media, entertainment, and technology industries (including key players, growth trends and drivers, new media models, industry structure, etc.).
- Analytical, results-driven, and detail-oriented with the ability to tell a story using campaign results.
- Knowledge of Adobe Premier or equivalent graphic design and video editing software.
- Familiar with YouTube and other social media platforms.
- Deep knowledge of and passion for anime and manga is a plus.
