23andMe is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Brand Marketing Manager with a proven track record who will help manage brand marketing initiatives. This role may also help manage various partnerships and other marketing programs.The role will report to our Sr. Manager II, Integrated Brand Marketing and will be responsible for the day-to-day management and execution of brand marketing initiatives with a foundation in data, insights, and industry/cultural trends, and providing additional support to our team as needed. This candidate should not only have the confidence and background to execute campaigns to help meet program KPIs, but also have the ability to think through all strategic elements and tactics.You will be a part of an enthusiastic, hard-working, integrated, and cross-functional marketing team that touches all parts of the company.Who We AreSince 2006, 23andMe’s mission has been to help people access, understand, and benefit from the human genome. We are a group of passionate individuals pushing the boundaries of what’s possible to help turn genetic insight into better health and personal understanding.What You’ll DoDay to day management of marketing initiatives, working collaboratively across teams, including Media, Design, Comms, PR, Consumer Insights, Product, Legal, Medical, and Regulatory.Detail-oriented campaign management, including execution of briefings, campaign strategy, creative strategy & deliverables, ensuring we are meeting execution timelines and benchmarks, updating and maintaining marketing materials, and working with the team to develop in-sync and cohesive messaging.Work closely with and help manage agencies and other brand partners.Identify new optimization, innovation, and strategic campaign opportunities, with a foundation in cultural/industry trends, data, and insights.Routing and management of reviews and approvals through appropriate internal and external channels.Troubleshooting and resolving campaign challenges and logistical issues with follow-ups that are timely and actionable.Support additional strategic campaign needs as necessary.All other duties as assigned.What You’ll BringBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.4+ years of brand-side or agency experience.Experience in product marketing a plus.Strategic and execution expertise in campaign management across various verticals and team dynamics.Effective time management and organization skills, attention to detail, and passionate commitment to meet campaign deadlines and goals.A can-do and self-starting attitude with strong communication skills and an ability to successfully multitask.Flexibility and comfortability working in a fast, high-paced growth culture, including the ability to react, respond and execute quickly to ad-hoc or real-time opportunities.Enthusiasm for working in a team environment!Ability to work from 23andMe's office in Sunnyvale, CA a minimum of three days per weekAbout Us23andMe, headquartered in Sunnyvale, CA, is a leading consumer genetics and research company.
