Believe is looking for a VP, USA – Labels and Artist Solutions (LAS) to conduct its expansion in the US. Together with the MD of English-Speaking Regions and the Global Head of Music, you will conceive the long-term sales strategy per music segment and definition of the value proposition, lead complex sales conversations to deliver our annual revenue targets, and oversee the service team ensuring we deliver and maximize the value for our clients. The VP will focus on growth and profitability of the business. The tasks and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Responsible for defining and leading priority market segments and value proposition Oversees budgeting and forecasting for global revenue Identify, target, and close new business opportunities Work with Central platform to define M&A strategy Understand competitive landscape and market trends via in-depth data analysis Sales and Client satisfaction Lead complex sales discussions with clients Set and deliver on commercial targets, strategic account conversions, target pricing, and other financial objectives Work collaboratively across all business functions including finance and product to adjust the best sales conditions Team management: Capacity to manage a team of sales and marketing services to labels Capacity to understand and project value creation to artists and labels Qualifications: 10-15+ years leadership experience in the US Music ecosystem preferably with labels across different genres Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with management and cross-functional teams, for both technical and non-technical audiences Ability to combine a strong entrepreneurial approach with global corporate requirements Ability to collaborate and foster a culture of continuous improvement in line with Believe’s guiding principles Ability to communicate, present, and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills Proven ability to plan and execute: An ability to develop coherent, forward-looking strategies to create new business opportunities An experienced leader, inspiring the team to high performance with a proven ability to attract top talent and develop/mentor top performers to growth roles Comfortable leading and operating with resource constraints Experience working within diverse companies and understanding the nuances of different cultures Working at Believe Working at Believe means having individual and collective impact in a fast-growing company!
