Position Purpose
Oversee architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical design efforts within the construction division. Manage drafting software, support project design, ensure code compliance, and lead internal/external teams to deliver high-quality results. Collaborate closely with estimating and other departments to drive company performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Contributions: Support company strategy, communicate value to clients, and stay current on codes, trends, and technologies.
- Design & Drafting: Create floor plans, site plans, and detailed drawings; ensure construction best practices and timely project completion.
- Customer Relations: Maintain strong client relationships, present designs, and provide post-sale support.
- Department Leadership: Set performance metrics, collaborate with estimating and project managers, and support strategic initiatives.

Education & Experience
- Technical degree preferred
- 10+ years in commercial construction drafting
