Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Sales and Marketing to lead our sales and marketing initiatives for our Bay Area hotel. This pivotal role will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive business growth, enhance customer engagement, and strengthen our market position. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in business development, technical sales, and account management, with a proven ability to lead teams and negotiate effectively. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve company objectives. Oversee business development efforts to identify new market opportunities and expand customer base. Foster strong relationships with clients through exceptional customer service and account management. Lead the sales team in achieving targets through effective outside sales techniques. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing campaigns with sales goals. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions. Manage budgets for marketing initiatives while ensuring optimal resource allocation. Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to maximize profitability. Provide leadership, mentorship, and training to the sales and marketing team. Experience Proven experience in hotel sales. Strong background in account management with a focus on customer service excellence. Demonstrated success in outside sales roles with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to manage complex deals effectively. Leadership experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment is highly desirable.
