JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Research and identify potential grant opportunities from government agencies, foundations, and other funding sources, in alignment with OOH's strategic goals
- Write, prepare, and submit compelling grant proposals and applications in collaboration with the Senior Leaders and subject matter experts within the organization
- Develop and maintain relationships with grantors and funding agencies.
- Track and report on the status of grant applications and manage grant compliance and reporting requirements. This involves working closely with the Finance Team members with respect to grant budgets, allocation and tracking the spending effectively.
- Conduct monthly meetings to monitor the status of grant applications, awards and financial reporting. Develop and implement advocacy strategies to promote our organization's mission and goals.
- Engage with policymakers, stakeholders, and community members to advocate for our cause.
- Monitor and analyze policy developments at the state, federal, and local levels that impact our organization.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and other materials to support advocacy efforts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align grant writing and advocacy efforts with organizational goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in communications, Public Relations, Political Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in grant writing and securing funding from various sources.
- Strong understanding of the legislative process and experience in advocacy at the state, federal, and local levels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary Description
$60,405.80 and up based on experience
