Salary:
Tri-City Group is currently seeking an Audio-Visual Project Manager for Davenport, IA. The Audio-Visual Project Manager will be responsible for providing overall on-site management of audio-visual projects.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Providing follow-up regarding the status of quoted items, subcontractors, and equipment purchase orders.
- Attending weekly job meetings (onsite and internally).
- Supervising total construction effort to ensure the project is constructed according to design, budget, and schedule (including interfacing with customer representatives, A-E representatives, other contractors, etc.).
- Planning, coordinating, and supervising on-site functions such as scheduling, engineering, and material control; may also provide day-to-day direction of on-site administrative staff in accounting, purchasing, etc.
- Supervising craft employees and/or other contractors as required by the contract.
- Providing technical assistance, including interpretation of drawings and recommending construction methods and equipment.
- Initiating estimates for extra work and issuing change orders.
- Assuming responsibility for the productivity of crafts, efficient use of materials and equipment, and contractual performance of the project.
- Fostering and maintaining good morale and positive relationships with field, customers, and office personnel.
- Participating as a team in calling and selling to potential customers for projects.
- Performing additional assignments as directed by management.
Qualifications:
- 1 or more years of related experience in audio-visual systems design, integration, and project management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Candidates must possess strong attention to detail, tact, and consideration, with a focus on accuracy. The role requires solid communication skills, positive initiative and judgment, problem-solving ability, meeting deadlines, self-motivation, business acumen, and organization.
