Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Expertise in VIP level, complex and high visibility eventsVendor and budget managementLead in executing high level eventsAbility to plan and execute large executive conferences and multi-day summitsDemonstrates outstanding leadership, expertise, management, and consultation skills when conducting business with customers, vendors and to the Eventions teamAbility to anticipate areas of risk and implement creative solutionsCreation and presentation of request for approval (RFP) to customersStay informed with industry standards and share new ideas with the Eventions team membersSupports the culture in being of serviceSchedule appropriate interdepartmental/vendor meetings for the operational aspects of coordinating conference/meeting requirements, which include pre-planning meetings or a pre-conference meeting for the customer and specific vendorsDetermine customer needs and sales potential Ability to anticipate customer needsMeet sales goals, as set by ManagementIdentify new business growthResponsible for growing brand awarenessAttend marketing and networking opportunitiesBe well versed in policies and procedures and provide excellent customer service while adhering to those policiesFoster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting teamwork and effective communication.Point of contact for internal departments and vendors for on-site eventsLead site visits to review event needs and specificationsSuperior oral and written communication skills with an Executive level audience and an innate attention to detailAbility to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing event requirements. Superior quantitative, oral and written communications and problem-solving/strategizing skillsCMP certification a plus.Basic calculations and Excel knowledgeAbility to continually evaluate situations and re-prioritize accordinglyProficient in Microsoft Software Programs including Outlook, Excel, Word, Power PointExperience with the industry reservation toolknowledge of meeting room setsAbility to operate a full line of audiovisual equipmentknowledge of catering resourcesAblity to type 60 wpmExcellent grammar and writing skillsExcellent customer service skillsExcellent communication skillsStrong organizational and time management skills.
