The Position:
The Senior Media Analyst should have an expert understanding of paid social media planning and buying, and have experience leveraging various ad types and objectives to drive results. The Senior Media Analyst, in tandem with the Manager and Director, leads media strategy and execution for more complex campaigns and is tasked with developing junior team members by way of training, the delegation of work, and overall client communication.
- Creatively and strategically work to understand our client's marketing needs and how to meet them with social strategy planning
- Own media planning, campaign setup, troubleshooting, and end-to-end execution of successful advertising campaigns across the various social platforms for your designated pieces of business
- Test and analyze key metrics to continually optimize performance to meet business objectives and exceed client KPIs and expectations
- Track individual performance and account/campaign details (budget, pacing against budget, KPI performance, flight dates, campaign notes, etc), and manage communication with client and partners during all phases of a campaign's lifecycle
- Maintain an understanding of all social media ad platforms and be able to educate greater media team of important platform capability updates and best practices
- Work with Manager to train, mentor and invest in Junior Media Analysts and Media Analysts to ensure proper onboarding and progression of teammates in these roles
- QA reports & trafficked campaigns, help develop QBRs and other larger client presentations in tandem with Manager and Director
- Establish strong relationships with internal team, external platform partners and end clients
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or equivalent field of study
- 4-6 years of paid social media buying (i.e. Meta, X, Pinterest, Snapchat, TikTok, Reddit, LinkedIn, YouTube/Google Demand Gen, etc.)
- Experience buying paid search is a plus
- Experience working in a media planning or buying position at an advertising or media agency, or client-direct is preferred
- Excel skills: comfort with pivot tables is a must
- Experience in working with large datasets and performing quantitative analysis to derive insights for customers
- Demonstrated critical thinking ability
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail

Pay Rate:
$75,000-$81,000 base salary
Base salary is determined by several factors including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. These factors are considered when making an offer of employment. If you are interested in this position and salary range, we'd ask that you apply.
