Primary Purpose
Assist teachers in the preparation and management of classroom activities and administrative tasks under the supervision of a certified teacher.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED, plus two years of college (48 hours), an Associate's Degree, or passing the Paraprofessional Assessment of Competencies exam (administered by Alvin ISD).
- Valid Texas Education Aide Certificate (can be obtained through Alvin ISD upon hire).
Skills and Experience
- Ability to work well with children
- Effective communication skills
- Some experience working with children
Salary
Starting at $19,320 for Instructional Support PG1 - 184 days.
