What You’ll Do
We are seeking an experienced creative professional to support ideation, production, and delivery of creative assets for all partnerships related to the Shaquille O’Neal brand. The main responsibilities include driving creative ideation and content execution to support the Shaquille O’Neal brand and its partnerships. This role reports to the Senior Vice President, Creative, and collaborates with the Jersey Legends Productions team and Shaq Brand team to develop ideas and manage content delivery across social media and brand partner channels. The role requires working across various verticals, mediums, and platforms while maintaining a clear brand voice and strong presence.
The responsibilities ensure effective management of the creative process and foster collaboration internally and externally, including with talent. What You’ll Be Working On
- Maintain a high standard of creative quality; facilitate ideation and content creation processes with the team and partners, ensuring quality and consistency aligned with the Shaquille O’Neal brand.
- Collaborate closely with the SVP Creative, Jersey Legends Productions, Shaq Brand team, and partners to deliver compelling creative work, including art direction, retouching, and overall content monitoring.
- Partner with Brand and Marketing teams to shape and develop concepts for social media and campaigns, translating ideas into comprehensive 360-degree campaigns.
- Stay informed on current and emerging trends in photography, fashion, lifestyle, and social media to keep content fresh and relevant.
- Work with talent on set, with partners, and internal stakeholders to uphold brand standards and ensure high-quality content production.
- Develop a network of high-level creatives—editors, scriptwriters, DOPs, etc.—to bring innovative ideas and elevate creative output.
Must Haves
- 5+ years of experience in a Creative Lead or similar role.
- Proven ability to generate ideas and develop them into compelling content aligned with brand needs.
- Experience in art direction within advertising or creative agencies, with high-level editorial experience in fashion, sport, and lifestyle.
- Strong collaborative skills, able to take and give direction effectively.
- Strategic thinking to identify objectives and craft exciting creative concepts based on brand and partner parameters.
- Informed knowledge of industry references, trends, and research.
- Experience across various genres, including social media, scripts, film, and photography.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to shifting priorities without compromising quality.
- Experience with retouching and video editing is a plus.
- Technical proficiency in design applications, with a BA or equivalent in Graphic Design or related field, and expertise in Adobe Creative Suite.
Location & Salary
Primary Location: Los Angeles, CA, United States
Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000
