The Senior Manager of Executive Communications will play a crucial role in shaping and executing the communications strategy for our executive team, including increasing the visibility and influence of our CEO, CTO, and other senior leaders. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent writing and presentation development skills, a keen understanding of digital and social media, and the ability to meticulously project manage high-profile speaking opportunities and communications activities in a fast-paced environment.Your responsibilitiesDevelop and implement comprehensive communication strategies for key members of the executive team.Spearhead content development for C-suite executives, including crafting keynotes, presentations, op-eds, and social media posts; align executive messaging with overall company goals.Manage Writer’s speakers bureau; secure and coordinate executive participation in conferences, speaking engagements, and other public events.Conceptionalize talk tracks and presentations, and work collaboratively with the creative team to ensure that presentations meet brand standards and maintain a cohesive look and feel.Support media interactions for the executive team, including prepping key executives for interviews and crafting critical follow-up communication.Prepare executive briefing materials, talking points, and Q&A documents as needed.Act as a trusted advisor for leadership on communications.Is this you?7+ years of experience in executive communications, public relations, or corporate communications within the tech industry.Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.Skilled at crafting compelling presentations for a variety of formats and audiences, including a good eye for design and aesthetics.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with senior executives as well as cross-functional teams.Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.Excellent organizational and project management skills.Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.Familiarity with digital communication tools and platforms.Benefits & perksGenerous PTO, plus company holidays.Medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and your family.Paid parental leave for all parents (12 weeks).Fertility and family planning support.Early-detection cancer testing through Galleri.Flexible spending account and dependent FSA options.Health savings account for eligible plans with company contribution.Annual work-life stipends for home office setup, cell phone, internet, wellness stipend for gym, massage/chiropractor, personal training, etc., and learning and development stipend.Company-wide off-sites and team off-sites.Competitive compensation, company stock options, and 401k.Writer is an equal-opportunity employer and is committed to diversity.
