We’re hiring a Brand PR & Marketing Associate to support Avenue Z’s external narrative. This isn’t a passive role — you’ll be measured by real PR impact: interviews, awards, placements, coverage and events.. You’ll also contribute to our internal marketing engine — collaborating across content, social, blog, email, and events to amplify our voice and extend our influence. This is a high-visibility role with access to senior leadership, including the CEO. What You’ll Do PR & Communications (Primary Focus – ~60% of role) Support Avenue Z’s brand PR: drafting pitches, securing placements, managing relationships with editors/influencers Track and report against PR KPI metrics: brand deliverables, interviews, awards, thought leadership, reporter meetings, events and case studies. Manage press releases, awards, executive visibility, and thought leadership opportunities Own media lists, monitor trends, and surface proactive pitch ideas Align our earned strategy with agency goals across AI, eCommerce, fintech, health, and tech Brand Marketing & Content (Secondary Focus – ~40% of role) Support and co-create brand content: blogs, social copy, case studies, email, and video Help maintain Avenue Z’s content calendar and distribution strategy Coordinate with design and performance teams to bring campaigns to life Contribute to internal and external events, from industry roundtables to client showcases What You Bring 0-2 years of experience in marketing, PR, media, or a related role (internships count!) Great energy and a proactive, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude — no task is too big or too small Excellent content creation, writing, editing, and communication skills Familiarity with social platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, X, etc.) and content best practices Sharp attention to detail, organization, and deadlines Curiosity, hustle, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment Bonus: experience with Canva, ChatGPT, or similar tools Why Avenue Z?
