Axos Bank is seeking a Lead UX Designer to transform the way our customers experience digital products and services. Products and services we design digital solutions for include but are not limited to: Banking, Borrowing, Advising, Planning, and Investing. You will be a key partner in bringing to market the needs of various business units helping to deliver quality that drives engagement and significantly improves customer experiences. This position will be on-site and located at our HQ in San Diego, California.

Responsibilities

• Partner in defining the next chapter in digital financial products and services
• Establish and grow a human centered design process(s)
• Improve upon the Axos design system in terms of quality and process
• Strive for brand consistency across product offerings
• Create digital experiences for our mobile and desktop interfaces
• Mentor Jr designers by espousing exemplary design and professionalism
• Effectively evangelize and utilize research solutions

Requirements

• 7+ years' UX design for digital solutions
• Experience working in a medium to large sized UX team
• An entrepreneurial spirit seeking to innovate in a fast-moving completive market
• Superior desktop and mobile UI and UX design experience
• Know the tools – Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to partner with various cross-functional teams providing leadership when necessary
• Confidence with UX research methods (when and how to use)
• Ability to articulate UX strategies through strong logic and great story telling
• Convert research insights into design solutions
