Sr. Digital Marketing Team Lead (Director Level) - Direct Hire Location:
Garfield / Passaic County, NJ (Onsite / Full-Time – 5 days) Industry:
Industrial Products / E-commerce / B2C Salary : 150-175K + 10%
The actual title of this role is Head of Marketing, but it's truly more of a technical role, acting in both a technical and strategic capacity, leading a smaller team.
Must-Haves for This Role
: This is a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves leadership opportunity. You will manage a team of 3–5 marketing professionals while also operating at a strategic level—driving and executing digital marketing initiatives across multiple channels. The successful candidate must demonstrate:
A strong background in PPC and SEO within an e-commerce B2Cenvironment. Proven ability to lead end-to-end digital marketing efforts while actively contributing to execution.

Overview: Our client, a well-established leader in the industrial and safety product space, is currently seeking a
Head of Marketing
to lead a fully integrated, full-funnel marketing strategy. This is a high-impact leadership role that will oversee digital performance marketing, content, branding, and GTM execution across multiple sales channels. The ideal candidate will be a digitally fluent, data-driven leader with deep experience in e-commerce and B2C marketing. You will lead internal and agency teams, partner cross-functionally with Sales and Product Management, and drive the adoption of AI tools to scale marketing efficiency and performance.
Key Responsibilities: Digital & Performance Marketing
Own the digital growth strategy, particularly through PPC, SEO, email, and social media initiatives. Optimize digital funnels for conversion, retention, and ROI. Oversee execution across platforms (Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta, HubSpot, etc.) using internal and agency partners.
Sales Enablement & Lead Generation
Align marketing initiatives with Sales objectives to drive measurable pipeline impact. Build programs supporting outbound, inbound, and account-based sales efforts. Implement structured handoffs and feedback loops between Marketing and Sales.
Account-Based Marketing (ABM)
Develop and manage a scalable ABM strategy with tailored messaging, content, and outreach sequences. Coordinate closely with Sales and Product Marketing to ensure alignment and campaign effectiveness.
Channel & Indirect Marketing
Design enablement strategies for distributors and resellers, including joint marketing campaigns and co-branded materials. Produce channel-specific tools, event strategies, and product collateral.
Product & Content Marketing
Collaborate with Product Management to launch and promote new/existing products. Lead development of content, training assets, landing pages, and lifecycle campaigns.
Events & Field Marketing
Drive event strategy, including trade shows, conferences, webinars, and distributor-focused activations. Manage pre- and post-event processes to capture and convert leads effectively.
AI & Martech Innovation
Champion AI adoption across content production, lead scoring, and campaign automation. Lead the implementation of a tech-forward marketing stack to improve output and efficiency. Leadership & Strategy
Build and mentor a high-performing marketing team. Define KPIs and report on program effectiveness using modern analytics tools. Serve as a strategic partner to executive stakeholders for GTM, forecasting, and investment planning. Qualifications:
Extensive leadership experience in marketing with strong emphasis on e-commerce, B2B demand generation, and digital performance. Proven success in developing and executing ABM and multi-channel strategies. Experience integrating AI tools into marketing workflows and content systems. Familiarity with channel marketing and indirect sales support. Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot preferred), CRM systems, and content tools. Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills. Preferred Experience:
Industry background in industrial, safety, hardware, or regulatory categories. Prior work with distributor co-marketing programs or sales enablement for channel partners. Demonstrated success deploying AI-enhanced marketing solutions. Why This Opportunity?
