Job Summary
The Manager of Season Pass – Loyalty is a data-driven, guest-centric marketer with a desire to tackle challenging, exciting business opportunities to drive pass holder retention for the most critical revenue-driving products at Vail Resorts. We tackle hard and fun opportunities ranging from strategy to execution. Our cross-functional team is smart, ambitious, and positive. Most of all, we are passionate about what we do.
This role requires strong analytical capabilities as well as the business acumen to translate quantitative and qualitative data into action. S/he will work with other members of the Season Pass Marketing Team to achieve KPIs, while working cross-functionally to execute and optimize strategies and go-to-market campaigns targeting renewing guests. The role is intended for individuals with a high sense of ownership, demonstrated background in driving results through data-driven strategies, passion for building guest loyalty and solving the most critical business problems.

The budgeted range starts at $74,100 - $96,465 + annual bonus. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.

Job Responsibilities:
Ownership and accountability of retention and loyalty customer strategies and go-to-market execution
Drive the execution of marketing tactics/campaigns through owned channels.
Effectively leverage data to draw clear, concise narratives on performance and assess potential strategic opportunities to optimize the guest retention experience.
Influence and collaborate with cross-channel partners to optimize and evolve lifecycle marketing strategies to increase retention of guests
Identifies opportunities in the guest journey to incentivize behavior and increase customer loyalty
Provide ad hoc support, as needed, across the broader season pass team to achieve collective goals
Collaborate with Resort Marketing and other lines of businesses (Ski and Ride School, Hospitality, Rentals) to generate enterprise-wide marketing strategies and improve the guest journey
Exhibit high learning agility, attention to detail, resilience, ambition, and emotional intelligence
Support development goals of other team members through active listening and candid feedback
Job Requirements
Required:
Four-year college degree required; emphasis in marketing or business preferred
Five years of marketing work experience; customer retention/loyalty-specific experience strongly desired
Proven track record of ownership of work and complex business problems; must be a self-starter without the need for daily direction
Strength in written and verbal communication, adjusting message to audience and able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills; able to effectively lead through influence
Must be able to own and drive multiple projects simultaneously and coordinate cross-functionally within the organization
Solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills and comfort with ambiguity
Able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Preferred:
Demonstrated experience in customer retention, guest experience or loyalty marketing and strategy
Strength in storytelling and presentation skills
Demonstrated analytical skillset
An MBA, Masters in marketing, or equivalent coursework / experience
The expected Total Compensation for this role is $74,100 - $96,465 + annual bonus. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

Vail Resorts offers a ‘Hybrid’ work environment for Broomfield-based roles where employees must live within 50 miles of the Broomfield office and work on-site Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and have flexibility to work off-site on Mondays and Fridays.
