Public Relations and Foreign Government Liaison at Gutierrez Law Firm (Austin, Tx)

1. Create marketing plans with 3rd party sources.
2. Respond to requests for information from the media, especially during current developments dealing with immigration with the new Presidential administration.
3. Write press releases or other media communications to promote clients.
4. Use existing firm press releases, articles, or flyers, ensuring appropriate translations have been done and approve final printing orders.
5. Establish or maintain cooperative relationships with representatives of community, consumer, employee, or public interest groups.
6. Plan or direct development or communication of programs to maintain favorable public perceptions of our firm.
7. Serve as the liaison to ongoing relationships with the Mexican and other Latin American consulates who regularly refer cases to our firm.
8. Study the objectives, promotional policies, or needs of organizations to develop public relations strategies that will influence public opinion or promote ideas, products, or services.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelors Degree in International Relations, Public Relations, Communications or other related field.
2. 12 months experience.
3. Salary dependent on qualifications, starts at $42,000.
