Marketing Content Specialist
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role, Marketing Content Specialist, are to:
- Create and implement innovative strategic content plans that are aligned with business and marketing goals.
- Plan and develop long- and short-form content for a variety of mediums including video development, podcast development, blog posts, content promotion planning, email content, sales collateral, website content, and product messaging.
- Distill agronomic information into simple, understandable copy across multiple touch points.
- Utilize farmer research data insights to inform content strategy and development, and maintain up-to-date understanding of the agriculture landscape and product offerings to implement storytelling that enhances the customer journey.
- Influence broad message creation for use by the entire organization.
- Use metrics data to evaluate content impact and advocate for continuous improvement that delivers real business results.
- Coordinate content across teams to ensure a consistent end-to-end experience for audiences.
- Audit and evaluate existing content and recommend changes to meet brand guidelines and content standards.
- Oversee and coordinate the storage, quality, tagging, and usage of brand content in the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system.
- Coordinate marketing plans with selected partners.
- Work with the US Tradeshow Lead to incorporate content strategy into key tradeshows and customer recognition events.
- Collaborate with agency partners alongside the Marketing Communications Manager to influence creative approach, messaging, and visual design.
- Maintain and evolve product content standards to be consistent with our brand persona.
- Edit other stakeholders’ work to ensure it is compelling, accurate, and consistent with approved messaging and brand voice.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining close attention to detail and meeting frequently changing deadlines.
WHO YOU ARE
Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, Communications, or related field with a minimum of 5 years of marketing experience emphasizing strong writing skills.
- 2+ years of writing and editing experience for web and digital content.
- 2+ years of video management experience.
- Experience managing multiple projects, setting stakeholder expectations, and collaborating across teams.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and accustomed to managing frequent feedback.
- Experience defining, tracking, and reporting on content effectiveness metrics.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Agronomy knowledge or equivalent experience is a plus.
