Job Description The NAE Gospel Beauty & Breadth Creative Director is an exempt professional full-time position. The Creative Director works collaboratively with all NAE staff to help evangelicals foster thriving communities and navigate complexity with biblical clarity. The Creative Director will oversee creative projects of the NAE’s newly established Gospel Beauty & Breadth Project, a multifaceted endeavor to draw women and men into transformational encounters with God and evangelical Christian faith through stories of hope, hospitality and healing. Qualifications and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Qualifications Personal and mature evangelical faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord Agreement to and affirmation of the NAE Statement of Faith and the NAE’s public policy document, “ For the Health of the Nation: An Evangelical Call to Civic Responsibility Regular attendance at an evangelical church Familiarity with and relationships in the evangelical community Minimum of four years of professional experience (ministry or otherwise) Baccalaureate degree required, master’s degree preferred Experience with storytelling design, video and podcast production and editing Ability to collaborate with others to achieve project goals Self-starter and ability to work with minimal supervision Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong relational and interpersonal skills Careful attention to detail Willingness to work as part of a team and flexibility to adjust to needs of a growing organization Capability and experience to fulfill responsibilities listed below Responsibilities Collaborates in planning, implementation, execution and evaluation of NAE efforts to draw women and men into transformational encounters with God and evangelical Christian faith through stories of hope, hospitality and healing Oversees all technical aspects of the project, including storytelling design, resource creation, and video and podcast production and editing Works with NAE staff and partners to create and disseminate resources, develop programs and utilize various communication mediums to tell transformative stories Develops and implements, in partnership with communications team, a marketing strategy for project resources Manages contractor relationships Travels for project creation and implementation Other responsibilities as assigned Relationships The Creative Director reports to the Gospel Beauty & Breadth Project Director The Creative Director works closely with Gospel Beauty & Breadth project staff The Creative Director collaborates closely with the NAE Communications team The NAE is headquartered in Washington, D.C. The Creative Director may work remotely. Some domestic travel will be required.
