Role Overview: As an Assistant Community Manager, you will assist the Community Manager with financial administration, including posting rental collections, making bank deposits, and overseeing accounting functions. You may also oversee leasing staff and lead the community in the absence of the Community Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support leasing activities and lease apartments as needed
- Post rental collections, deposit funds, and manage accounting tasks
- Meet regularly with management to improve community performance
- Conduct market surveys and recommend pricing adjustments
- Maintain resident files and generate reports
- Manage notices to vacate, delinquency, evictions, and collections
- Address resident concerns and coordinate resolutions
- Perform administrative duties as assigned
- Maintain regular attendance and punctuality
Qualifications:
- BA/BS in business, sales, or related field, or relevant experience
- Strong collections and accounting skills
- Experience with Onesite/Rent Roll preferred
- At least 1 year of property management experience preferred
- Supervisory and leasing experience preferred
- Excellent customer service and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and organizational skills
Physical Requirements:
- Walking, bending, reaching, climbing, lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to work with mechanical and electrical equipment and hazardous materials
- Comfort with heights and heavy objects
