Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities, ensuring they meet academic, social, and emotional needs. Provide specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities in a variety of settings, including inclusive classrooms, small groups, and one-on-one. Adapt curriculum materials to meet the diverse needs of students, using specialized teaching techniques and accommodations as outlined in the IEPs. Collaborate with general education teachers, counselors, school psychologists, and other support staff to ensure the delivery of a well-rounded educational experience for all students. Provide direct instruction and support to students in areas such as reading, math, social skills, and behavioral management. Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records, including progress reports, IEP documentation, and assessments. Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and school-wide activities to engage with students and families. Implement behavioral interventions and strategies to support students in achieving their IEP goals and promoting positive behavior in the classroom.
