Learning and Multimedia Content Specialist
Full-time, Non-exempt
Job Summary
We’re seeking a multimedia content creator and course administrator to support the LEARN Program, a no-cost energy efficiency technical upskill and consumer education program for San Diego’s diverse communities. You’ll ensure our content is engaging, accurate, and visually appealing, meeting business, technology, and user requirements. You’ll create meaningful multimedia content for our website, LMS, social channels, and promotions. This role is remote, with travel within San Diego County required for events or meetings.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Three years of experience in eLearning, curriculum development, or design (web, multimedia, UX)
- Experience managing courses in an LMS (familiarity with Docebo)
- Proficiency with content creation and project management software (e.g., Articulate Storyline 360, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, ThingLink, Asana, Microsoft Office)
- Knowledge of construction trades, energy efficiency, renewables, sustainable building, healthy housing, and California energy markets
- Familiarity with marketing, behavior change, adult learning, and UX principles
- Ability to lead in-person learning events and workshops in San Diego
- Experience working with underserved audiences
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) - preferred
Pay Range
$33.00 - $38.00 per hour, dependent on experience
