Retrofete is looking for a full-time Junior Photo Editor/ Retoucher to join our NYC-based web team. The Junior Photo Editor/ Retoucher will be responsible for developing and executing refined imagery across social, site, and print.

Responsibilities:

• Own post production process from selects to final deliverables to our ecommerce team
• Retouch and color correct assets for social media, digital ads, email marketing, designing website banners, etc.
• Crop, resize and optimize images for multiple platforms
• Selecting Imagery for the site that embodies the Retrofête girl and a great representation of the stylised product
• Actively seek out inspiration, cultural and industry trends to ensure concepts are fresh and relevant in the fashion space
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring on-time delivery and accurate execution against creative briefs
• Curate lookbooks for each season
• Curate images and partner with the graphic designer to produce emails and Ads
• Own DAM system (Via Bynder)
• Implement batch processing and automating techniques where possible
• Assist in updating decks when needed
• Package and distribute photo assets to external teams

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience in the eCommerce creative field
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Capture One, and InDesign (After effects + Premiere is a plus)
• A passion for fashion and photography
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams such as sales, PR, buying + merchandising, and outside partners
• Keen eye for imagery and assets that support an eCommerce platform
• Ability to hit deadlines for a fast paced fashion brand
• Able to commute to our NYC office daily
• Graphic design experience is a plus
• Has worked internally with an agency-like creative team
• Likes dogs (We have an office pup!)
• Has the ability to wear multiple hats
