Job Description
As the Manager of Product Marketing you will have the responsibility for the Go-to-Market strategy, driving continued growth and profitability within the Technical Goods business unit. (Gasoline and Diesel Systems, Electronics and Steering Systems)
You will lead a team of product marketing professionals that work cross-functionally with Regional Business Units, Sales, Marketing Communication, Logistics, Customer Service, Business Development, Legal and Finance & Controlling, with a clear focus on achieving market share wins.
In more detail, as the Manager of Product Marketing, you will be responsible for:
Product Strategy:
Conduct market and competitor assessments, combining quantitative analysis and qualitative feedback.
Represent market insights internally to Product Management, focusing on user-centricity.
Develop product positioning strategies to leverage Bosch brand and drive category growth.
Create effective marketing support materials that communicate product value propositions. Ensure that material supports sales in customer acquisition.
Ensure that all go-to-market teams have access to compelling and up-to-date sales collateral.
Design and implement partnership programs to enhance sales efforts.
Sales Growth:
Define long-term profitable growth plans and strategies. Analyze market for growth potential, identifying new market requirements, opportunities, and risks.
Support customer acquisition projects in collaboration with the sales team.
Create marketing communication activities to support broad market penetration across various channels to reach workshops.
Collaborate closely with Sales, Business Unit, and Controlling teams on business planning and forecasts. Develop counter measures to keep business plans on track.
Margin Management:
Develop price positioning strategies to maximize profitability while remaining competitive.
Monitor and steer EBIT results, triggering counter-measures as needed.
Ensure effective control of marketing budgets and take corrective actions to meet financial objectives.
Additional Responsibilities:
Coach, lead, and develop team members, providing feedback on marketing strategies and leadership behaviors.
Motivate the team to continuously challenge the status quo and improve processes.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's Degree with proven, strong business and marketing background
Master/Graduate Degree in Business or Marketing is a plus
Work Experience
5+ years of leadership experience, preferably in the Automotive Aftermarket, leading & inspiring high-performance teams
Well developed product management and product marketing experience
Experience in P&L and Margin management
Experience on Price Management
Proven strategy development and strategy implementation
Strong entrepreneurial Mindset

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $125,000 - $160,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc.
