Your work will directly shape how individuals and businesses navigate the immigration process, redefining an industry that has remained unchanged for decades. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, enjoys owning the end-to-end design process, and is excited about building UI/UX for AI-powered experiences.
What you will do
- Design AI-driven experiences – Craft seamless UI/UX that helps users interact with Alma’s AI agents and legal workflows effortlessly.
- Own the end-to-end design process – From research and wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes.
- Collaborate closely with product & engineering teams – Work hand-in-hand with PM and developers to bring your designs to life with precision.
- Create scalable design systems – Establish a consistent, high-quality visual language across our platform.
- Move fast and iterate – We’re a startup, and we ship quickly. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment where feedback loops are short.
What we are looking for
- Experience designing UI/UX for AI-powered applications – You understand how to create intuitive experiences around complex AI interactions, especially Agentic workflows.
- Detail-oriented & systems thinker – You care about the big picture but also sweat the small details.
- Startup mindset – You’re comfortable wearing multiple hats, moving fast, and iterating often.
- Strong visual and interaction design skills – You can translate complex workflows into elegant, user-friendly experiences.
- Proficiency in Figma – You’re fluent in modern design software and workflows.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience designing for legaltech, fintech, or other regulated industries.
- Familiarity with designing B2B SaaS or consumer-facing web applications.
- Knowledge of front-end development principles (not required but helpful!).
