We are seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical Piping Designer to join our Engineering team and bring innovative process piping solutions to life. Based in Bradford, PA, you’ll play a key role in designing high-quality modular systems that support critical industries like biotech, pharmaceutical, and semiconductor manufacturing.

Who are You?
- You bring a solid background in mechanical and piping design, ideally with 3+ years of industry experience.
- You’re experienced with Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD, and confident creating both 3D models and detailed 2D fabrication drawings.
- You understand process piping layouts, fittings, and system design fundamentals.
- You’re detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of juggling multiple priorities with precision.
- You communicate clearly and collaborate well with cross-functional teams—from electrical engineering to fabrication.
- You’re ready to grow with a company that values craftsmanship, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
What will You do?
- Design & Drafting – Create 3D models and fabrication-ready 2D drawings for customer approval and production.
- Layout & Modeling – Develop mechanical layouts for modular piping systems based on customer requirements and industry standards.
- Cross-Functional Coordination – Work closely with electrical engineers, estimators, and project managers to ensure functional, cost-effective designs.
- Documentation & Review – Interpret P&IDs, flow diagrams, and specifications to accurately define scope; lead design review meetings to ensure accuracy and serviceability.
- Continuous Improvement – Participate in department improvement initiatives and stay current with the latest design tools and standards.
Tools & Tech
- Autodesk Inventor & AutoCAD
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Familiarity with ASME BPE and Navisworks a plus
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in 3D CAD design, Bachelor’s in Engineering, or equivalent experience (3+ years)
- Strong understanding of piping systems and mechanical layout design
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, blueprints, and specifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong math skills and attention to detail
