What You’ll Do:
- Develop and drive global influencer and creator marketing strategy, with an always on approach targeting brand ambassadors with a focus on relaying Michael Kors jet-set DNA, building brand heat, and engaging their followers with key handbags each season.
- Develop relationships with target influencers to build brand relevance through both organic gifting, dressing opportunities and paid partnerships. This should include existing friends of the brand, but also bringing new influencers to the table to further our influencer marketing program from a fresh perspective.
- Oversee global influencer guidance, providing direction to regional teams on influencer best practices and initiatives with weekly Teams with all global markets.
- Oversee global measurement and reporting; drive, track, and report on key KPI’s, including reach, engagement, and conversions by campaign, aligned to broader campaign and business goals utilizing influencer analytics platforms (Lefty, DMR, ListenFirst, etc.).
- Research, conceptualize and coordinate global influencer collaboration, special projects, and events. (Influencer trips, fashion week, market launches, store openings, future local opportunities, regional events). Support regional marketing programs across the globe and ensure local relevance.
- Ideate and oversee the execution on all Global Influencer initiatives with internal partners including licensing, wholesale, e-commerce, etc.
- Partner with creative team to develop content creation briefs from concept to execution, managing talent-led campaigns and retail influencer activations.
- Manage Influencer Assistant to oversee logistics and coordination of day-to-day influencer relations, product seeding, travel arrangements.
- Negotiate and manage global influencer legal contracts in partnership with Senior Director of Celebrity and Influencer Relations.
- Oversee global influencer budget, vendor onboarding and approvals.
You’ll Need to Have:
- Bachelor’s degree, 6-8 years of experience in influencer marketing, social/digital media and/or influencer affiliate experience; fashion industry experience preferred.
- Strong relationships with influencers and talent representatives.
- Be at the forefront of understanding marketing, culture, and social media trends and serve as an expert in the space.
- Strong ability to pull thoughts and ideas together to create in-depth strategic presentations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Highly motivated, resourceful and shows initiative; team player is a must!
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
