Summary Objective The Visual Brand Specialist plays a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining our brand's visual identity. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this role focuses on creating compelling visual content that aligns with our brand strategy. The Visual Brand Specialist supports business development efforts by elevating our brand and imagery. The role requires a solid foundation in design principles and proficiency in industry standard software, an eagerness to contribute innovative ideas to the team, and collaborate on company-wide projects.
Essential Functions Drafts, designs, and creates creative assets that embody the brand's visual identity. Verifies that assets and designs are consistent in brand representation and ensures that assets are flexible enough for varying mediums. Maintains and adapts assets, product imagery and graphics to keep up with current and emerging graphic design trends. Coordinates with internal teams on developing new digital media, content, and design features for front facing applications and internal applications. Communicates and assembles design requirements from internal teams. Pitches designs and graphics drafts to the marketing team and takes in feedback for use in future versions. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The position also requires the coordination of off-site events where you may be exposed to outside weather conditions.
Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's in graphic design, visual communications, or a related field. 1-2 years of previous graphic design experience in the energy, oil & gas, data center or related industries. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design tools.
