Senior Producer, Podcast and Media Expansion: Ligonier Ministries

Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Producer of Podcast and Media Expansion to oversee the production of podcasts and new media content for Ligonier Ministries. If you are an experienced producer with a background in podcasting, radio, video, TV, or a related media field and have a passion for spreading trustworthy Reformed Biblical teaching through media, this may be the role for you.

In this role, you will manage all aspects of the production process—from concept development to distribution—while leading a small production team. This position will also involve close collaboration with creative, marketing, and other departments to ensure the delivery of content that meets the standards of quality, connects with new audiences, and advances Ligonier’s mission to proclaim, teach, and defend the holiness of God to as many people as possible. You will also provide critical leadership within our Media team for continuous improvement and innovation.

Position Qualifications:

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Proven track record producing a recurring media property such as a podcast, web series, TV show, etc.
• A passion for Reformed Theology, Biblical teaching, Church history, and communicating those topics with a broader audience through media.
• Familiarity with audience engagement and content growth strategies.
• Ability to manage the production of recurring podcast episodes, ensuring all aspects of the process are completed efficiently, including scheduling, recording, editing, and distribution.
• Ability to work closely with creative, marketing, and other internal teams to ensure content aligns with broader ministry goals and meets the needs of the target audience.
• Previous experience managing production teams.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Must be experienced with managing projects from within multiple collaborate work management tools such as Wrike, Airtable, cloud-based spreadsheets, etc.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams, including creative, marketing, and technical departments.
• A commitment to delivering high-quality work that reflects Ligonier’s values and mission.
• Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
• Agreement with the Ligonier Ministries’ Core Statement of Faith.
• Agreement with the Ligonier Ministries’ Standards of Conduct.
• Meet the attendance requirements of the position including occasional travel and work outside of typical office hours.
• Employees may be required to attend conferences and events.

• Experience with video production and digital content creation for web and social platforms.
• Proficiency with podcast production software, audio editing, or related tools.
• Familiarity with video production tools and digital content distribution platforms.
• Knowledge of SEO, social media distribution, and analytics for digital content.
• Experience providing strategic direction and creative input on podcast and digital media projects with strong attention to detail and editorial sensibility.

• A bachelor’s degree in film production, Broadcasting, Media Studies, Journalism, Communications, Digital Media, or equivalent work experience in these fields.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in media production, with a strong background in podcasting, video, radio, or television and a strong portfolio of work.

This position is for a non-profit Christian ministry located in Sanford, FL. At this time, we are only able to hire individuals who are authorized to work in the United States.

The pay range for this position is $95,000 – $115,000 annually. Pay ranges represent the lowest to highest salary we reasonably believe we would pay for this role at the time of posting. We may ultimately offer more or less than the posted range, and the ranges may be modified in the future. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, geographic location, and organizational needs.
