Marketing & Communications Director.Here’s what we can offer for schedule, pay, and benefits:This is a full time position.
Our entire organization works Monday to Friday with no nights, weekends, or holidays.We are still determining the pay scale for this position. We will update this posting when a range has been determined.Discounted childcare rates for dependents are available. The successful candidate will be eligible for a 65% tuition discount. Discounts can include automotive care, clothing, fitness centers, home improvement, hotels, jewelry, mortgages and realtors, photographers, recreation, restaurants, and more!We can teach you a lot, but there are a few things we are looking for in our Marketing & Communications Coordinator:An associate or bachelor’s degree in marketing, social media, communications, graphic design, business administration, or another related field is preferred.At least one
year of professional experience in a marketing-related field
is required.Experience with social media marketing campaigns or working with a non-profit organization is helpful.Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication, active listening, and presentation skills are crucial for this role.Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required and knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Google Analytics is required.Must have exceptional time management, organizational, and project management skills.Must demonstrate a high level of responsibility, punctuality, and be able to consistently produce detail-oriented work.Must be able to understand the mission and vision of Boys & Girls Clubs of the Sioux Empire and have the ability to articulate that vision effectivelyWhile the following are not required for this role, these skills will make a candidate stand out:
An eye for design, with experience using design tools such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and/or Canva.A passion for capturing high-quality photos and videos that are linked to storytelling, with an interest in advancing expertise in these areas.Experience with content management systems.Experience with social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.Familiarity with email marketing tools such as Mailchimp.
A valid CPR certification or the ability to obtain and maintain CPR certification within 90 days of employment is required. CPR training and certification is provided in-house by Boys & Girls Clubs of the Sioux Empire.Our job offers are contingent upon a post-offer screening process which includes, but is not limited to: a background check, child abuse and neglect screening, and drug screen.Learn a little more about our history and our mission:Boys & Girls Clubs of the Sioux Empire is the largest childcare provider in South Dakota serving 1,500 kids from 4 weeks to 18 years of age daily.
