Base pay range

$60,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr

We are currently searching for:

We are seeking a client and team-oriented professional with three or more years of experience in the design and/or integration of commercial AV systems and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in the design of audio and video systems, including distributed and large-format sound systems, DSP & control systems, equipment room layout/design, broadcast systems, distributed video (QAM or IPTV), and related infrastructure for commercial, corporate, and government projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and design audio and video systems using CAD/Revit modeling software.
• Create one-line drawings and other detailed design documents.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to integrate AV systems into building projects.
• Design and layout equipment rooms and AV infrastructure.
• Produce detailed documentation for bidding and construction, including drawings, narratives, and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Provide technical support during the installation and commissioning of AV systems.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in CAD/Revit modeling and one-line drawing development.
• Proven experience in the design and integration of commercial AV systems.
• Familiarity with distributed and large-format sound systems, DSP & control systems, broadcast systems, and distributed video (IPTV).
• Strong understanding of the Architectural, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry.
• Ability to develop comprehensive documents for bidding and construction.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• CTS or CTS-D certification is desirable but not required.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in designing AV systems for government projects.
• Knowledge of emerging AV technologies and trends.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
