What You Will Do
- Assess, develop, implement and evaluate Music Therapy interventions to address the age-specific psychosocial and physiological needs of hospitalized adults and their families.
- Plan and implement music therapy groups for inpatients/outpatients/staff.
- Evaluate and mentor practicum and internship students as appropriate.
- Engage in professional growth, information sharing, and collaboration.
- Create and implement innovative ways to secure funding.
Additional Responsibilities
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Comply with all policies and standards.
- Refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation for specific duties and responsibilities.
- Abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients, including annual training, the UH Code of Conduct, and UH policies and procedures regarding appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
