Location - American Tenet, San Antonio, TX
Duration - Summer 2025
About Us -
American Tenet is at the forefront of developing an autonomous, unmanned, fixed-wing drone that can remain aloft for months without an engine. We endeavor to reach altitudes of 90,000 feet and create the world's first unmanned, autonomous commercial aircraft to autonomously circumnavigate the globe with the ability to land and take off from the ocean surface. Our focus is combining cutting-edge technology while leveraging underutilized resources to deliver force-multiplying capabilities to our commercial, government civil, and defense customers. We seek a motivated and talented Web Developer Intern to join our dynamic team for the summer.
Project Overview -
As a Web Developer Intern, you will be part of an exciting project to enhance our online platforms and digital presence. You will work on developing and optimizing both our company's external website and our internal processes within SharePoint. The goal is to create a seamless and intuitive web experience for our internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.
Responsibilities -
- Collaborate with the development team to design and implement web applications and features for both the external website and SharePoint.
- Develop responsive and user-friendly web interfaces using modern web technologies.
- Optimize web applications for performance, scalability, and security.
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.
- Conduct testing and debugging to ensure the functionality and usability of web applications.
- Document the development process, code, and user guides throughout the internship.
- Present weekly progress and results to the team and stakeholders.
Qualifications -
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of web development principles and best practices.
- Experience with programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Familiarity with back-end technologies such as Node.js, Python, or Ruby on Rails is a plus.
- Knowledge of SharePoint development and customization.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Go High Level, Notion, Slack, and Quip.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
