TECHNICAL PROPOSAL WRITER
Financial & Realty Services, LLC dba FRS Professional Services, LLC (“FRS”) is recruiting for an independent contractor Technical Proposal Writer. The candidate will create and deliver proposals that comply with all solicitation requirements. The ideal candidate has experience in the government contracting process.
Responsibilities:
- Independently author proposals including cover letters, executive summaries, management plans, staffing plans, tailored resumes, past performance descriptions, and other sections as required.
- Research and gather technical and background information for inclusion in proposal documentation and deliverables.
- Prepare graphics, including figures, tables, and hypertext.
- Ensure all proposals are grammatically correct, technically sound, and maintain a compliant and consistent theme throughout the process.
- Improve proposal production process by maintaining past performance, boilerplate, and customer profile libraries.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Communications or related field
- 3+ years’ experience with writing entire proposals (government, real estate, Professional Services, Financial Services, facility operations, project management, etc.)
- Knowledge of the federal government marketplace is a plus
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe, and graphics
- Comprehensive knowledge of Federal procurement processes, standard solicitation instructions, and proposal development methods
- Adaptive to change throughout the proposal process and ability to maintain professionalism under stress
