Role: C#, WPF UI Software Engineer Work Location: Remote within USA (Client location: CA, PST time zone) Rate: $62/hr MAX on C2C/1099 Job Responsibilities Design and develop C# desktop applications for our instruments. Create software that integrates hardware, biology, and AI into seamless UI. Support daily research and improve instrument software. Expand system capabilities by exploring new hardware. Collaborate with scientists to enhance instrument intelligence and usability. Improve architecture of complex systems. Minimum Qualifications Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with object-oriented design and principles; writing high-quality, clean code. Proficiency in C#. Knowledge of software engineering best practices (version control, code reviews, agile, unit testing). Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. Experience building C# WPF UI and GUI design. Experience with hardware interfacing (e.g., instrumentation). Experience writing asynchronous/multi-threaded applications. Experience with relational/non-relational databases. Experience with image processing (OpenCV) and signal processing. Python experience is a plus.
