Job Title: CAD Designer
Job Description
The role of the CAD Designer is to produce accurate and complete 3D and 2D drawings of products and systems in accordance with our standards for commercial, institutional, and industrial water treatment projects. This position requires close communication and coordination with the project engineer, who will provide markups and guidance throughout the project.
Responsibilities

Produce 3D drawings (Inventor) for systems based on guidance from the project leader, drawing markups, existing drawings, and written documentation pertaining to the project.

Produce 2D drawings (AutoCAD) such as wiring diagrams, or electrical panel drawings based on guidance from the electrical engineer, markups, written documentation, and existing drawings.

Provide design support to other areas of the business, including sales, procurement, and manufacturing as needed.

Verify that drawings are complete and accurate.

Generate complete and accurate bills of materials from 3D drawings.

Actively contribute to maintaining our standards drawing library up to date.
Essential Skills
-
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Inventor.

Experience with Bill of Materials (BOM) generation.

Knowledge in piping layout design or tank design is a plus.

Experience with water treatment systems is a plus.

Associate's degree in CAD drafting or a related field, or 2+ years of experience in 3D CAD design.

3D modeling experience (Inventor preferred).
Additional Skills & Qualifications

Strong interpersonal skills and positive conflict resolution.

Prior experience with commercial and industrial water treatment equipment is a plus.

The work environment includes a very clean shop floor and a well-lit, organized, and clean office space. The atmosphere is typically quiet. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
