- Project Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with the Designer/Project Manager across multiple projects simultaneously, translating conceptual designs into detailed, executable plans while meeting tight deadlines.
- Model Development: Create and refine 3D models in Revit or CET to visualize spatial relationships, furniture placement, and architectural elements, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Design Support: Assist in developing design concepts by providing CAD expertise, incorporating revisions, and ensuring drawings reflect client requirements and industry standards.
- Documentation: Prepare construction documents, schedules, and material takeoffs as needed, maintaining consistency and accuracy across all project deliverables.
- Software Integration: Leverage 3 years of experience in AutoCAD, Revit, and/or CET to integrate data across platforms, streamlining workflows and enhancing project efficiency.
- Quality Control: Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with building codes, design standards, and client specifications before submission.
- Communication: Regularly update the Designer/Project Manager on progress, flag potential issues early, and coordinate with team members to resolve design conflicts or technical challenges.
- File Management: Organize and maintain digital project files, ensuring easy access and version control for team collaboration.
- Adaptability: Juggle multiple projects with varying scopes and timelines, prioritizing tasks effectively to support the design team's objectives.
Qualifications:
- Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Drafting, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience considered.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience using AutoCAD, Revit, and/or CET in a design or drafting capacity.
- Proven track record of working on multiple projects simultaneously under a designer or project manager.
- Skills: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting), Revit (BIM modeling), and/or CET (space planning/furniture design).
- Strong understanding of architectural and interior design principles.
- Excellent multitasking and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and communication.
- Basic knowledge of building codes and construction standards is a plus.
- Attributes: Detail-oriented with a commitment to precision and quality.
