Position Summary:
Florida Atlantic University’s University Galleries is seeking several Part-Time Graphic Designers in Boca Raton, FL. The role involves supporting a high-profile art exhibition opening in Fall 2025 by developing public-facing promotional materials and in-gallery exhibition graphics, collaborating with curators and designers to create a unified visual experience.
Responsibilities:
- Develop the visual identity and branding for the exhibition.
- Design and produce marketing materials, including print and digital assets (posters, postcards, web banners, social media templates, etc.).
- Collaborate on gallery graphics, wall texts, labels, and signage.
- Ensure design deliverables are clear, cohesive, and meet standards.
- Prepare print files and coordinate with vendors.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent and five years of experience; or an associate degree with three years; or a bachelor’s degree with one year of experience.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in graphic design, preferably in arts contexts.
- Strong portfolio showing promotional and exhibition design.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent communication, time management, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Details:
- Salary: $16.50 - $19.00/hr
- Location: Boca Raton
- Work Hours: Up to 20 hours/week
