We are looking for a Freelance Technical Designer, Women's RTW for a top fashion company in New York City.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with maintaining and tracking technical specs
• Assisting with grading specs and garment measurements
• Reviews samples against design package to ensure all specifications, construction and design details are adhered to.
• Attends fit sessions and assists with fit comments from concept to TOP of assigned classifications.
• Communicates daily with vendors, Merchants, Design, and Production, Overseas offices, Suppliers and Customers teams

Required Qualifications:

• Experience in fashion industry – women's/juniors contemporary RTW
• Expert In Excel
• Must be organized, multi-tasker
• Driven toward technical accuracy
• Meets deadlines, prioritizes appropriately
• Effective communicator on multiple levels
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc)
• 3+ years of experience
