Job Description NAOVI is seeking a Journeyman Graphic Designer to assist the government with the following task: Primary Responsibilities: Develop graphics, digital media, cartography, and other multimedia products. Utilize request management tools to provide swift, high-quality customer support for communication requests. Coordinate with UI/UX designer in Knowledge Management to ensure graphic products provide an engaging and user-friendly experience. Create graphic designs for a variety of written and digital products. Develop design concepts and implement designs for new web pages, mobile applications, newsletters, ads, infographics, banners, illustrations, logos, and other types of digital content that will be presented online. Ensure products conform to all production standards, copyright laws, accessibility compliance requirements, and public release clearances. Conduct technical quality checks. Manage an approved concept and build in HTML/CSS to comply with responsive design principles. Provide cartography support, as needed, to design thematic and reference maps. Experience with the following: Leading the development of graphics, digital media, cartography, and other multimedia products. Front-end web design, UI/UX, HTML/CSS. Photography and video editing. Mentoring and training junior staff. Creating graphics products that provide an engaging and user-friendly experience. Creating graphic designs for a variety of written and digital products. Developing design concepts and implementing designs for new web pages, mobile applications, newsletters, ads, infographics, banners, illustrations, logos, and other types of digital content presented online. Ensuring products conform to all production standards, copyright laws, accessibility compliance requirements, and public release clearances. Conducting technical quality checks. Required Education and Experience: BA/BS and 5+ years of experience or no degree and 9 years of experience. Required A work portfolio of experience is required .
