Part-Time Design Engine – Accounts Receivable / Project Management

At Design Engine, we are all about learning. Learning new software for better people skills is what we are about. Our industry is product design, manufacturing, and engineering.

We are all about manufacturing and the training that stems from there. Die casting classes, Plastics classes, and Forging classes are some of what we teach at DE. Most of our classes revolve around the use of design tools: SolidWorks or Creo. We think of CAD tools as communication tools because that’s how we communicate in the manufacturing world.

Description

Design Engine is looking for a part-time Accounts Receivable/Project Management person in Chicago, IL. This individual would have experience using Google Suite, PipeDrive, and BaseCamp.

This position is remote. This position is part-time. The majority of the Design Engine team is located in Chicago; however, there is no reason you need to be located in Chicago to help our team.

Your Tasks

• Accounts Receivable – Our customers all have various accounts payable portals. We need someone that is capable of learning to navigate each organization’s software for accounts receivable.
• Project Management – Auxiliary projects – manage workflow, invoicing, hours
• Assist New business development assistance

Your Software Knowledge

• Google Suite (Google docs, Google sheets, etc.)
• Pipedrive
• QuickBooks

Not Necessary but Beneficial Software Knowledge

• Basecamp
• MailChimp
• Creo
• SolidWorks
• Alias
• Maya

Schedule

• 20 hours a week

Education

• Associate (Preferred)
