Location: Based in Minneapolis; supports multiple restaurant locations across DDP Restaurant Group
Compensation: $55,000 - $70,000 annually

Position Summary:
The Social Media Manager supports the execution of digital content strategy across the restaurant concepts within DDP Restaurant Group. In close partnership with the groups external PR consultant, who leads overall media and social strategy, the Manager brings content plans to life through hands-on content capture, editing, posting, and daily engagement. This role requires strong creative instincts, excellent visual storytelling, and the flexibility to work on-site during peak dining hours or special events.
Key Responsibilities:
Capture and edit high-quality photo and video content for social media (reels, stories, posts).
Collaborate with the PR consultant to implement social media strategy across restaurant concepts.
Analyze social media performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
Create and manage content calendars, post scheduling, and campaign rollouts based on approved direction.
Maintain brand voice and visual consistency across multiple accounts.
Oversee community management efforts (comments, DMs, tagged content).
Supervise and mentor the Social Media Coordinator in daily execution tasks; review their content drafts, ensure consistency in voice and visual style.
Coordinate with restaurant teams to plan content opportunities (new dishes, team features, seasonal menus).
Support press and influencer engagement initiatives alongside the PR consultant.
Track analytics and prepare performance recaps to inform future content.
Attend and document events, weekend service, and in-person activations as needed.
Stay up to date with platform trends (Instagram, TikTok, Threads, etc.) and competitor benchmarks.Qualifications & Expectations:
3 - 5 years of professional experience in social media, preferably in food, beverage, or lifestyle industries
Strong photography, videography, and editing skills
Skilled in editing tools such as Lightroom, CapCut, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite (or similar tools)
Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, Meta Business Suite, and scheduling platforms
Excellent communication and project management skills; highly organized with attention to detail
Comfortable working evenings/weekends as needed to capture real-time content especially during service or events
Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment with multiple stakeholders
Organized and capable of managing multiple brand accounts and deadlines simultaneously
Passion for food, beverage, hospitality, and telling authentic brand stories
