**Expeditor - El Cajon, CA - $22/hr-$24/hr** **Job Description** The Expeditor plays a pivotal role in ensuring efficient production operations. This role involves coordinating the workflow on the manufacturing floor, ensuring all supervisors have the necessary materials, and effectively communicating between the planning and production teams. **Responsibilities** + Drive production activities on the floor by ensuring supervisors have the necessary resources. + Create jobs and travelers; explain any job splits and the reasons behind them as called for by management. + Relay crucial information between the planning and production teams to ensure seamless operations. + Coordinate jobs with approximately 30-40% of time spent using the 'Job Boss' system to track and coordinate job progress. + Search for and verify inventory, ensuring all parts required for a job are available. + Manage and juggle about a dozen different projects simultaneously. **Essential Skills** + Experience in inventory management and expediting materials. + Proficiency in using 'Job Boss' or similar job tracking systems. + Understanding of the aerospace and defense industry. + Strong communication skills to effectively relay information across teams. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. + Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously. + Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic team where your contributions directly impact production efficiency.
