Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a UI / UX Designer

Position : UI / UX Designer

Duration : 3-6 month contract to hire

Location : Chicago or Denver area (remote initially)

We are searching for an UI / UX Designer with a passion for translating data into simple to understand language with actionable reports. Our ideal candidate will play a key role in designing the UI / UX experience, have a background in data engineering, and experience developing an interface that allows an end user to visualize data. The UI / UX Designer gathers requirements, designs, and works with a variety of team members to realize high-quality user-interfaces. This position will be in close contact with end users.

As a UI / UX Designer, you will :

• Works with the team to define the visual language as well as functionality and usability requirements.
• Develops and creates UI ?design, interactive prototypes, and artwork workflows from concept to completion.
• Tests, identifies, and fixes functional and usability issues.
• Understands current industry UI / UX trends and serves as a knowledge base for future development.
• Creates or contributes to the creation of UI tools and processes.
• Documents and communicates the UI design vision across the company and to external partners.
• Maintains UI / UX design consistency throughout projects.
• Designs and implements medium to complex flows, screens, and components at a high-quality bar with minimal oversight.
• Communicates and collaborates with all disciplines necessary to deliver features on time, in line with the art direction, and with the end users' best interest in mind.
• Ensure UI / UX is optimal with continued iteration and development.
• Identifies priorities and gaps in current designs, data structures, and contributes to creative and technical solutions.

What’s required :

• Bachelor's degree in human-computer interaction, graphic or interactive design preferred.
• Minimum 5-10 years professional experience as a UI / UX designer with the ability to provide a strong portfolio.
• Experience developing an UI / UX art pipeline and uses that to lead UI development.
• Strong graphic design ability in 2D, 3D a plus.
• Experience managing and collaborating with other team members of varying skill levels.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Demonstrates strong technical and problem-solving abilities.
• Identifies challenges and proactively addresses them.
• Knowledgeable in UI / UX best practices and requirements.
• Must possess strong computer skills in MS Office, including Microsoft Word, Teams, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience in Envision, Adobe, Power BI, Tableau and other designer tools.
• Committed to providing outstanding customer service and represents the company in a professional manner.
• Ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information.
• Must be able to identify and escalate non-technical issues to their immediate Supervisor or People Services department.
• Proven experience working in a fast-paced collaborative environment where personal initiative is a critical element to success.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS :

Pay Range

• Between $63 and $70 per hour.
• Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
