Location: Jersey City, New JerseyJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $54 - 59 per hourWe're looking for experienced, strategic design thinkers to join a dynamic team focused on regulatory controls and operational risk technology. This is a 6-month contract position with the potential to convert to a full-time role. The role requires a hybrid work schedule, with 3 days onsite each week in Jersey City, NJ and 2 days remote. This may change to 5 days onsite in the near future. As a UX Designer, you will work closely with product and engineering teams to enhance design maturity and drive innovative, strategic solutions. This role requires a designer who can navigate complex business processes, think critically, and bring a user-centered approach to solving challenges.Responsibilities: Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver effective design solutions. Lead and participate in moderated, synchronous user research and feedback sessions. Develop solutions that address business problems and user needs, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. Present design processes and solutions transparently, showcasing iterative problem-solving. Qualifications:Desired Skills and Experience B2B enterprise experience with a proven ability to handle complex systems. Proficiency in Figma and strong user research capabilities. A portfolio showcasing: Strategic thinking and problem-solving approaches. Clear processes for identifying and solving design challenges. Iterative design with a focus on business impact and user needs (beyond polished visuals). Initiative and leadership in gathering user feedback and iterating based on research findings. Skills: UI/UX UX Design Work Environment Hybrid Schedule: 3 days on-site and 2 days remote. Office Location: Jersey City (collaboration with the team in-person is required).
