Job SummaryThe Director of Marketing will oversee and manage all marketing activities, ensuring that our brand message is consistent and compelling across all channels. This role involves daily management of various platforms, coordinating with internal and external teams, executing strategic marketing plans, and conducting reporting and analysis to measure effectiveness and guide decision-making. Additionally, this role includes managing trademarks and copyrights to protect the company's intellectual property. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in marketing, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of digital marketing tools and strategies.Key Responsibilities:Ecommerce Management:Amazon, Walmart, and Other National ChainsReviews: Monitor and manage reviews using Ecom Engine.Buy Box: Track and maintain Buy Box status via Seller Central and Ecom Engine.Direct Messaging: Respond to customer messages through Seller Central and other platforms.Public Questions: Address public questions sent via email alerts from these platforms.Seller Feedback: Handle seller feedback alerts from Ecom Engine.Order Cancellations: Manage order cancellations from email alerts and respective platforms. For battery-related products, cancel orders in Ware to Go as well.Refunds or Returns: Process refunds or returns through Seller Central and other platforms.Shopify and Pagefly - Ecommerce CustomerProduct Pages: Update product pages and descriptions.Discount Codes: Set up discount codes.Forecasting: Assist with forecasting.Technical Support Videos: Update as needed.Partner Management:AsanaPartner Coordination: Track and manage tasks with outside partners for organic social, Marketing Cloud, and Personalization.Organic Social Team - PartnerContent Creation: Collaborate on creating posts and blogs.Monthly Calendar: Assist in the creation of the monthly content calendar.Sales Coordination: Inform the team of upcoming sales and provide discount codes.Marketing Cloud, SMS, and Personalization Team - PartnerEmail Marketing: Coordinate and help design marketing emails.Website Campaigns: Design and manage campaign popups on the website.SMS Journeys: Assist with SMS journey coordination.Customer Engagement and FeedbackYouTubeChannel Management: Monitor the channel for customer reviews or questions.Content Upload: Upload newly created videos to the channel.Salesforce CasesMarketing Cases: Check and complete marketing-related cases from Shopify customer orders, campaign emails, etc.Sprout SocialPost Management: Ensure no outstanding posts need approval.Customer Engagement: Address customer complaints and reviews, tag customers and installers, and manage the Influencer Ghost Program.Shopper ApprovedCustomer Reviews: Address any customer reviews below a 4-star rating.Packaging, Cutsheets, and POP for Retail StoresDesign Artwork: Create and design artwork for product packaging, cutsheets, and point-of-purchase (POP) displays for retail stores to ensure a cohesive and attractive presentation.Collaboration: Work closely with the product development team and our contract manufacturers to align packaging, cutsheet designs, and POP displays with product specifications and marketing strategies.Brand Consistency: Ensure all packaging, cutsheets, and POP displays reflect the brand's visual identity and messaging.Stock Management: Ensure stock availability of POP materials in the warehouse and update as needed.Reporting and AnalysisData Analysis: Analyze marketing data to measure the effectiveness of campaigns.Reporting: Prepare regular reports on marketing metrics and present findings to the executive team.Strategic Adjustments: Make data-driven recommendations to adjust marketing strategies and improve performance.TradeshowsPreparation: Ensure the van and crates are stocked with brochures, cutsheets, pop-up banners, and a working demo gate.QualificationsExperience: Extensive experience in marketing, preferably within the e-commerce or technology sectors.Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.Knowledge: Proficiency with digital marketing tools and platforms, including Amazon Seller Central, Walmart, other national chains, Salesforce, Sprout Social, and Asana.Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.Technology: Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Creative Cloud (including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign).Attitude: Results-driven, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Travel: Willingness to travel for tradeshows and other business-related events as needed.
