Associate Marketing & Donor Communications Manager Type: Full-time Company: San Francisco General Hospital Foundation Location: San Francisco, CA Type: Full-time Description: ABOUT US San Francisco General Hospital Foundation (SFGHF) is a dynamic and growing nonprofit fundraising organization dedicated to promoting equity in healthcare for all at the Priscilla Chan and Mark Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center (ZSFG). Zuckerberg San Francisco General is the only provider of trauma (Level 1) and 24‐hour psychiatric emergency services for 1.5 million people in San Francisco and northern San Mateo counties. A comprehensive medical center, Zuckerberg San Francisco General provides quality health care with compassion and respect to 100,000 inpatient and 500,000 outpatient visits per year, including some of San Francisco’s most vulnerable. In addition, Zuckerberg San Francisco General is one of the nation’s top tertiary academic medical centers conducting clinical training and research. In 2016, Zuckerberg San Francisco General opened a new acute care hospital, and the Foundation concluded a successful multi‐million‐dollar capital campaign. POSITION SUMMARY: This is a full-time position that does require a hybrid schedule of remote and office-based work and the flexibility to travel locally and work outside of standard working hours for special events as needed. Reporting to the Director of Communications, theAssociate Marketing and Donor Communications Manager will support the Foundation’s efforts to acquire, retain and steward donors by working closely with the Communications team and the Development team to execute communications via social media, email marketing, video, and web to maximize engagement and revenue generation. A key role in brainstorming activations, this role will support a broad set of activities across all on and offline marketing channels at SFGHF. THE ROLE: Work closely with the Communications team and Development team to plan, create, and schedule a robust communications calendar for both social media and email, managing all community follow-up. Manage communication technologies including social media platforms, email deployment software, Raiser’s Edge database data exchange, Google Analytics, WordPress. Report on digital communications metrics and performance to align with ROI objectives and utilize findings to increase digital engagement. Manage communications for the Foundation’s annual signature event, Hearts in SF, through marketing and communications strategies and campaign execution with the help of vendors, event committee members and internal staff. Manage vendor agency workflows, ensuring projects stay on schedule and on budget, while meeting the needs of the internal team including scheduling content creation timelines, review of assets, and disseminating to the appropriate partner agency. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
3-5 years of marketing experience Familiarity with email marketing (MailChimp or similar), all social media platforms, and CRM (Raiser’s Edge preferred) Experience with WordPress or similar CMS Ability to manage paid campaigns from design to reporting, including familiarity with Google Analytics Ability to learn and implement new technologies based on industry trends Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organization and time management skills Ability to work collaboratively with other department members Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills Ability to work successfully in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment
SALARY RANGE: $76,000-$88,000 BENEFITS: We offer a competitive compensation package and comprehensive health benefits, in addition to professional development opportunities.
