In this role, you will research building products, advise staff on selections, and prepare specifications primarily for architecturally led projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assist Project Managers and Project Architects/Engineers in preparing Project Manuals
- Lead specification efforts for the architectural discipline (CSI Divisions 00-14)
- Coordinate specifications with drawings and project schedules
- Manage and update specification software and master specifications
- Maintain construction materials library and relevant documentation
- Support quality assurance and professional development initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- CCS or CDT certification preferred
- Knowledge of specification software (MasterSpec, SpecLink, or SpecsIntact)
- Architectural license or 10+ years of architectural experience
- Experience in specification writing and construction administration
- Good communication and computer skills, familiar with Microsoft Office
