Microsoft Edge browser is critical to the Modern Life and Devices business. People spend more time browsing the Web on PCs than any other activity in desktop computing. This role focuses on the new browser that is leading the way in broad scale open-source adoption and driving customer centric product development redefining productivity, enhancing security on the web, and embracing inclusive design.
We are looking for a data-driven Product Marketing Manager to help identify Edge features and apps that drive healthy usage to recommend marketing actions and drive greater engagement. This Product Marketing Manager will leverage data to deeply understand who our Edge users are, what they find most valuable to influence product and marketing roadmap . This Product Marketing Manager leads cross-functional partnerships, earning the trust of partners in Engineering, Business Planning and Marketing, translating complex analyses into actionable, business-focused insights.

Responsibilities
Live and breathe customer needs and help drive human-centered design process to ensure future solutions are grounded in real world challenges for customers.
Work with internal partners, including business planning, finance, research, engineering, and marketing to execute strategies with passion, precision, and excellence.
Recommend feature prioritization and product-market fit for fueling product momentum.
Lead primary research on browser users to understand their pain points and JTBD.
Develop deep understanding of customer needs, mindset, and value props. Represent customer voice – needs – and unmet needs – to shape product and marketing roadmap.
Drive the development and execution of Peace of Mind and Productivity features in Microsoft Edge, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify user needs, define requirements, and prioritize improvements for a seamless and intuitive experience.
Define market readiness for features, identify target customers and execute strategy for customer journeys.
Think creatively about customer/business problems and generate innovative solutions and energy through storytelling.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 2+ years experience in business
OR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 1+ year(s) experience in business
OR equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business
OR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business
OR equivalent experience.
Efficient written and verbal storyteller who can craft product stories for different customer segments, as well as telling the story behind the numbers to move executives and the broader organization.
Experience with various consumer research methods, identifying insights and recommending data-based solutions.
Experience communicating and evangelizing strategy across organizational boundaries. Proven track record of working in an ambiguous, undefined space and defining structure and strategy.
Demonstrated collaboration, analytical and critical thinking skills.
Product Marketing IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $83,400 - $167,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $108,900 - $183,000 per year.
