Position Type: Elementary School Teaching/General Music - Elementary Date Posted: 2/14/2025 Location: Ray E. Kilmer Elementary School Date Available: 08/01/2025 Lewis-Palmer School District 38, located in Monument, CO, is looking for full time Generall Music teacher beginning with the 2025-26 school year at Ray E. Kilmer Elementary . Must have, or be eligible to receive a Colorado teaching license with appropriate endorsement, music endorsement preferred. There is also the opportunity for additional duties with weekly morning choir that meets for a portion of the school year. The start date for new teachers is August 1, 2025. Exact placement on the pay schedule will be determined by the Director of Human Resources upon contracting. As a guideline, we offer up to 16 years of previous contractual teaching experience for a placement of Step 17, per school board policy. This pay range is based on education and experience levels with a range of $44,000-$71,866 . The current teacher pay schedule can be found on our website. This position will remain open until filled. *This position is eligible for a $2,000 bonus- $1000 to be paid in September and $1000 paid in March 2026 paycheck. Full-time employees, employed at least thirty hours per week, of Lewis-Palmer School District are eligible for health insurance plans that include medical, dental, vision, and a life insurance. Lewis-Palmer does provide one plan that is of no cost to the individual. However, employees may choose from a selection of plans that include coverage additional options for individuals, employee plus spouse, employee plus children, and family plans. All employees are eligible for participation in the Colorado Public Employees Retirement Account, PERA.
